Yes: Zyrtec (cetirizine) will help with hives caused by food, drug or environmental allergies. If there are other symptoms beyond just hives be sure to have and not be afraid to use self-injectable Epinephrine (such as EpiPen). Zyrtec will not necessarily prevent anaphylaxis.

I have hives during sleep and sometimes night time for over a month already and can be only control by Zyrtec. Cannot find anything or pattern that trigger the hives reaction.
