I take zyrtec (cetirizine) for chronic hives, but it has caused me to lose a lot of hair...is there another medicine i can take without the side effects?

Side effects: Hair loss is not a normal side effect. Most common side effects include: drowsiness; dry mouth; stomach pain (in children); tiredness; trouble sleeping (in children). Try taking Claritin (loratadine) or Allegra instead.
