Zoloft (sertraline) & panic?: Zoloft (sertraline) an SSRI is effectively rx'ed 2 treat panic attacks (acute anxiety marked by physical sxs like palpitations, sweating, dizziness, difficulty breathing, tingling, numbness, & others). Sometimes, if the med has just been started, the pt may have incr anxiety Xs abt 1 wk. Then the med should begin to work to prevent panic. C ur doc if ur symptoms are worsening instead of improving.
