Can it be possible for you to know the stage of your cancer before getting a full body x-ray?

Maybe: It is possible in some cases to tell if a cancer has spread and to have an idea of the stage without doing X-rays or scans but most of the times we need those tests to confirm our suspicions or identify occult areas of cancer.
