You get 90 mg: If you take 1/2 of an Allegra 180 mg you get 90 mg. The Allegra allergy 12 hour tablet, available over-the-counter, has 60 mg of fexofenadine.The drug is quite safe and will not make you drowsy at 60, 90 or 180 mg/day. Save the bucks and consider the generic forms.

No: If you cut Allegra (fexofenadine) 180 you will have to contend with a very bitter taste and the 180 mg dose once a day is much more effective than 60 mg twice a day. The side-effects are so minimal that there is no benefit to decreasing to 60 mg twice a day and you will not be as well controlled.
