Try benadryl (diphenhydramine): Two doses of Allegra probably would not be dangerous, but Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is safe and 25-50 mg would probably be more effective in helping your hives. If you develop tongue swelling, difficulty breathing, or inability to swallow, go to the ER. Hope this helps!
