A member asked:

Why do children vomit when they have the flu or the strep throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Natural response: Infectious agents stimulate the body's immune response to literally purge the body of the illness and purging responses include vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, runny nose, sweating, and fever. Vomiting is a normal reaction to both kinds of infection. Plus infections affect the whole body not just one area.....While one area may have the most symptoms.
