Not pancreatitis: What you describe are not symptoms of pancreatitis. HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide) can definitely cause abdominal discomfort and constipation. Talk to your doctor about the fact that you feel you are experiencing side effects from HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide).
