A member asked:

Is it posbl for ultrasound machn and urine strip not to show the early pregnancy of 2 to 3 weeks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: As far as ultrasounds go, it is possible that an early pregnancy would not be detected. Typically, doctors will do a serum HCG level, and if the HCG is above a certain threshold, it would be expected that the ultrasound would be able to detect the pregnancy. The best test to see if you are pregnant is a serum beta HCG, I would recommend that if you need to know now.
