I need to pass urine constantly (every 20 minutes) and have trouble holding water. ultrasound shows no abnormality, what could it be?

You can have a UTI: A urinary tract infection. If the urinalysis is negative - then you could still have bladder irritability. It is not normal to urinate constantly. I assume your doctor is looking into this. (since they already ordered an ultrasound.) i suppose you could also have prostatitis. Does it hurt when you urinate?
