Apply Ice: After surgery and with the fitting of a brace which has caused pain ,one should elevate and apply ice . Take medications ordered by your physician or NSAIDS like Ibuprofen or Naproxen as directed. If the pain persists or worsens call or see your Orthopedic surgeon. Good luck.
