What are some adverse affects of lexapro (escitalopram) when taken for anxiety?

Adverse events : Common adverse events during the initiation of treatments with escitalopram include but are not limited to headache, nausea, insomnia, sedation , anxiety and thoughts if suicide. those that last beyond 7-14 days and/or are serious should be assessed by an MD.

Lexapro (escitalopram): Side effects such as nausea & headaches, upset stomach, also possible insomnia if taken late, caution not to use at same time with other ssris or st. Johns' wart or if have mood swings.
