This is normal: As you get to term (36 weeks and beyond), the measurement of your fundal height is not as accurate to determine the size of your baby. There is easily a "give or take" of up to 3 cm, so this is normal. If your bladder is empty vs full, this can also affect your height measurement. If it continues to remain this measurement at your next visit, however, discuss with your OB provider.

No: The fundal height is a indicator of the babies growth especially from 20 weeks on. Your physicians would have let you know if they were concerned. As long as the baby is moving appropriately there should be no concern. At 38 weeks one should be seen weekly and you will be able to ask your physician if you have any further questions. Eat healthy, walk and get good rest. Congratulations.
