Yes.: The underlying disorder in OCD is anxiety so the Lorazepam will alleviate the anxiety but will not do anything for the OCD. There are drugs used specifically for OCD, mostly SSRI's such as Luvox, Anafranil, Prozac, Zoloft, Lexapro and Paxil (paroxetine). Behavioral therapy in combination with medication is the best treatment for OCD.
