Quiet ovary.: Fortunately, you have another fully functioning ovary I assume which will compensate hormonally for the "quiet" one. You are 44 and may be perimenopausal. Your specialist could do hormonal testing to get an idea where you are.

Goals: It is unclear what you are referring to by stimulating your ovaries. If you are trying to get pregnant then seeing a specialist is a good idea. If you are worrying about menopause then there are medications which can help.
