Exam: You may have a corneal infiltrate due to something that irritated the cornea. The white color is due to white blood cells, but as this inflammatory process continues, the corneal tissues break down & pain & inflammation increases. The white spot may ulcerated and the adjacent tissues become red, inflamed & hurt. You need to have your eyes examined to institute proper and urgent treatment.
