It is safe,: It could be difficult to quit taking Topamax (topiramate) because of the withdrawal symptoms. Follow your doctor's instruction and taper down Topamax (topiramate) (e.g 25mg down every 3 days) to ovoid complications. You always can go back, gradually , on Topamax (topiramate). Good luck.
