Milk: As long as your child takes 24 ounces of milk per day I wouldn't be concerned. Also you don't mention your child's age and if he is taking solids, in which case his milk intake would drop

Vit D: newborn need 400 iu of vit D as Breast milk is deficient in it it needs to be supplemented. Even as the child grows 600 to 800 iu is needed each day I.
