Repeat the bld test: You didn't mention your BUN or sodium. Sometimes high postassium can be a false result from breakdown of blood cells (hemolysis). Are you on supplemental postassium? Adrenal problems can also cause high K+, Either way, high potassium can cause heart rhythm problems and you need to be retested.
