I have been hoarse for about a year.constantly clearing my throat. no allergies. no probs noted on endoscopy. getting worse.

Hoarseness: What kind of endoscopy did you have? GI lab EGD or pulmonary lab bronchoscopy are not a good way to study vocal cord anatomy and function. An ENT clinic laryngoscopy can easily identify common problems in your age group including vocal paralysis, growths, atrophy, or acid reflux. Next step after that is a 'video stroboscopy' as a sensitive exam for subtle vocal dysfunction, ordered by ENT.
