It may: But assuring you are rid of the c-diff is most important, as there are becoming more and more resistant strains of c-diff, so get the diarrhea re-tested for c-diff. If negative, then pursue the Irritable bowel diagnosis by seeing a GI doctor for an evaluation and treatment. Best wishes.

Abdominal pain: Your symptoms could be due to Inflammatory Bowel Disease or a recurrence of C. diff. You need to see a GI specialist and get this diagnosed asap.
