Hemochromatosis : Your Hgb is relatively normal. Your transferrin saturation is highly consistent with iron overload. Inflammation can affect ferritin results, so when high it is Not reliable, when low it is very reliable for low iron. All tests are taking into consideration the patient's entire presentation, not just lab results. We need more information to answer your question. What are your lab trends like?
