Knot on toddler head: Most knots on children's head, if they are discreet, mobile, not red or hurt on touching, are benign lymph nodes which get enlarged due to minor trauma, inflammation or skin infection of scalp region like dandruff or scalp ring worm etc. A short visit to your pediatrician or to a minute clinic would solve this "mystery" in no time!

Consult the doctor: It could be prominent vein or oval line after trauma _a swelling and may be the cause of irritability of your child .He should be examined by doctor.
