Yes: It is common to have anemia in late pregnancy. Even if hemoglobin is normal before a vaginal or ceserean delivery, you can become anemic afterwards due to blood loss. It is important to continue prenatal vitamins and extant iron if needed for at least 2-3 months after delivery.

Yes & No : There is nothing normal about having low Hgb . However after pregnancy , since the baby derives their Hgb from the mother , you could have low Hgb . After delivery and especially a C section , there can be a considerable amount of blood loss snd the mother can loose a lot of blood and can end up with low Hgb , so in that sense , it can be Normal . Cont to take prenatal bits & additional FE supp
