Lump over my left rib cage for over a year. doc said it's a lipoma- but it is a firm mass and hurts sometimes. mobile. approx 5cm x 2cm. concerning?

Check it out: Lipomas are generally benign fatty growths. However, you can never be 100% sure it is a lipoma without removing it and checking it. Also, if it is becoming painful that may be grounds to have it removed and examined.
