Lipoma on my left back rib cage been there awhile now doctor feels a ridge with a lump under that. i have pain there and wraps to front what's wrong?

Let me advice you: When ever you have the pain wrap around the rib cage? This means to me there a pressure on the nerve between the ribs (above and below). This not common in lipoma. I would suggest to have check with thoracic surgeon to be sure nothing bad. Good luck.
