DOMS: Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is a post-exercise muscle pain. Presenting symptoms include muscle stiffness, palpable tenderness, and pain with active muscle contractions. Symptoms usually subside within a short period of time (7-10 days) without any residual effects. Drink plenty of water, apply moist heat, good muscle stretching and 2 Aleves (naproxen) OTC every 12 hours.
