Unlikely: An internal hemorrhoid if identified on clinical exam is unlikely to be cancer. If you do have surgery, the tissue is always sent to pathology to confirm. If you are worried about cancer, you should have a coloscopy with bx to evaluate the area and the remainder if the colon
