Yes: If you are having CT colonoscopy, this means they are using a CT scanner to look at the colon. This can see other internal organs as well. If you have regular colonoscopy the scope only sees the inside of your colon, but is a better way to look at the inside of your colon than CT, because CT cannot see the lining of the colon or small lesions in the colon, and if needed a biopsy can be done.
