A member asked:

Why natural selection hasn't eliminated colour blindness.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not needed: Normal color vision is not necessary for reproduction or survival. If we lived in a society where your necktie had to match your shirt in order to allow you to have children, then ultimately color blindness would be eliminated. However, we do not.
