If you are really: 35 y.o. as your profile suggests than go yourself w/out permission but ew/quiet respect for their point of view. That in itself can be therapeutic. If you are younger try to make a deal w/them. Ask them to agree w/3 sessions and go from there. The doc can then give his/her opinion also. Peace and good health.
