Parents need to meet: with the OB, neonatologist & patient ombudsman to learn details of labor, delivery & neonatal course. Poor outcomes of difficult deliveries are usually from maternal, placental or fetal factors, not moms' or doctors' fault. A malpractice suit in PA must show injury, that a doctor's conduct was not standard of practice for the given circumstances & how the doctor's conduct caused the injury.
