The process: Visualize a frustrated adult who grasps a baby/toddler by the chest or outer arms. They then shake the baby/toddler with the head whipping back & forth (all the way back to all the way forth). This is the type of force needed to trigger shaken baby syndrome. Random movements without force does not, although it is a good idea not to carry baby in arms if you cannot focus full attention to them
