Do not take: Lisinopril if you are pregnant or thinking of getting pregnant . If you are on it stop and contact your doctor immediately to be changed to a different bp medication. Lisinopril is category D and is dangerous to the fetus.

Drugs in pregnancy: Lisinopril is a member of the ACE-Inhibitor class of drugs. As such, it cannot be given safely to a pregnant woman. So she should come off it, if she is on it, immediately and speak to her OB about other BP meds that can be used without harming the fetus. Good luck.
