A member asked:

I have 2 daughters, i am affected with chickenpox how could i avoid to affect them?

Hard to say: Hopefully you had them immunized as infants and they are somewhat protected. If not, there is no way that those in close contact with you have not been exposed enough to become infected. You are contagious for the 24-48 hours before the first spots until the last dry (~6 days).Incubation period is 10-21 days.
