Depends: Do you have insurance? If so, what is your copay for elective surgery. Is the surgery cosmetic in nature? If so, you will need to pay up front. If you don't have any insurance, the hospital will want to see what your resources are in order to help you develop a payment plan that is reasonable and fair. Good luck!
