I'm concerned to have elective gallbladder surgery because i'm a heavy drinker (not daily tho). can i have higher risk for complications?

Heavy drinking: raises the risk for many health and social problems. Please share your history w/your doctor who will assess your surgery risk and get help for your heavy drinking before damage is done. 12 step programs such as AA can be helpful. Peace and good health.
