Risk: Physicians are more willing to have increased risk for life and limb threatening surgery like open heart. Obesity increases risk of many surgeries.

Safety and success: Obesity significantly increases ur chances of death and complications with surgery. It also decreases the success rates of many surgeries. This is one of the reasons bariatric surgery is so dangerous 100% of the patients are obese.
