Unlikely.: However, difficulty swallowing can be a sign of potentially serious problems. Are you having trouble with actual swallowing, or having trouble with food sticking in your chest after you've swallowed? It's an important distinction. Regardless, you should see a gastroenterologist to help elucidate the cause and treat it.
