I have what i believe to be petechiae on the palm-side of my fingers (mainly the tips). it has continued for over a month. why would it develop there?

More info: I would like to see what it looks like before giving an answer. However, petechiae can be caused by trauma, blood disorders and sometimes they can be confused with telangiectasias which are dilated small blood vessels and can be caused by several inherited and acquired disorders. You need to be examined and get blood work.
