I have an infection with my cartilage. i am using mupirocin but fear that my hole will close with the earring out. should i keep it in while it heals?

Staph aureus: If you are trying to treat cartillagenous infection with topical Mupirocin it is not very likely to have any significant effect. Best to be seen by an infectious diseases expert and have this managed appropriately.
