I have pain in my shins when walking or standing for long periods of time it is even worse when wearing a one inch heel what is the cause ??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Shin Splints: It sounds like shin splints, which is a pain along the shin bone where the muscles pull against it. This is often due to a walking pattern that is abnormal, usually caused by a flat foot. Rest from exercise or heavy walking activity can help improve symptoms. If this doesn't work I recommend you see a podiatrist, who can evaluate your feet and legs and make an orthotic that can help.
