Concerning: HCGs don't always exactly double every two days. However the rise in your case is minimal. The possibility of miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the uterus, usually in the tube) exists. Follow up with your provider for an ultrasound. Today ectopics can often be treated medically, without surgery, if caught early enough.
