Tarsal Tunnel Synd: This sounds like possibly tarsal tunnel syndrome, which is similar to carpal tunnel syndrome in the hand. It is caused by pressure on the nerve at the ankle. It could also be a tendon problem. I recommend seeing a podiatrist for further evaluation.
