Antibiotics: Most people do not want to go to the ER if not needed. However in your case I think it probably is necessary. You should check your discharge notes or paperwork from the provider prescribing the antibiotic in the first place. It is likely you were warned to go to the ER for any fever. You may be worsening and need stronger antibiotics or to be admitted.
