A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible infection: Pleural effusion is reaction to inflammation either in lung, chest wall or possibly something under left side of diaphragm Must rule out bacterial or fungal causes as well as viral. Should see pulmonologist if symptoms persist or worsen and may need blood and skin testing as well as sputum analysis.
