Antral gastritis: This is a fairly common problem and the cause can be infection, or peptic acid irritation or stress etc. Your doctor who made the diagnosis can explain all this to you, and there is good treatment for the various causes. Diet should exclude, irritants like alcohol and coffee, but take in lots of vegetables, fruits , berries and yogurt if you are not milk sensitive. Frequent med is nexium (esomeprazole).
