It's hard to watch: When someone you care about is not well in any way, it is hard to watch them make what you think are bad decisions. I don't think he has the correct idea about dosage - many drugs do not work that way. More is not always able to handle worse symptoms. He needs to see his Dr about this. Never change doses w/out medical direction. It can really be dangerous. But little you can do. Tell him you care.
