The chances of getting listeria are mainly from consuming contaminated foods and while pregnant women are somewhat more prone to get listeria than gen popln, your chance of getting Listeria from eating cereal that remained dry with soil contamination are minimal. As a consolation,overall Listeria cases are decreasing from the US
