Don't overdo: Brushing 2-3 times a day, GENTLY, with a soft bristled toothbrush and a pea-sized dollop of toothpaste, for 2 FULL minutes by the clock, will get your teeth 60-75% clean. You need to floss daily to reach the places a toothbrush can't. Go to your Dentist, have your teeth examined and cleaned, and ask for oral hygiene instructions tailored to your needs.

Yes: Use soft brush and brush several times a day. Should brush after each meal.

If you eat 5x: brushing after every meal or snack is good oral hygiene- use a soft brush but don't brush unless there is debris in your mouth- you can still wear off some enamel with excessive brushing.
